Ostendorf Skolan dB

Phoenix SKOLAN dB the high performance Acoustic, Low noise, Tradewaste system

In drain pipes, there are two types of noise transmittance:

  1. Air borne noise
  2. Solid borne noise

The special molecular structure and the great weight per unit area of the material polypropylene, reinforced with minerals with an extremely high molecular weight, assist in reducing the air borne sounds produced by the plumbing system.

Coupled with a specially designed rubber lined bracketing system, Ostendorf combats both forms of sound transmission throughout buildings.

Phoenix Skolan dB is a top quality plastic pipe system made of mineral-reinforced polypropylene. It is this material that provides Phoenix Skolan dB with it's excellent sound-insulating properties, thus creating ideal pre-requisites for forward-looking use in any area of the building industry. (Houses, units, flats, hospitals, apartments, industrial building, office blocks and hotels) High temperature discharges of up to 95 Deg C continuous is allowable with Skolan pipes. Acoustic results with Phoenix SKOLAN dB pipes, of less than 25dBA is achieved without additional lagging.

Phoenix Skolan dB contributes considerably towards enhancing living quality and also towards increasing the value of any property. The Phoenix Skolan dB soundproof piping system fulfills any expectation from an ecological as well as from an economical point of view, particularly with the high demands placed on unit and housing living today.
